bleahgh. midyears = this thurs! math. ugh. discrete is hard.. too many formulae, it makes my head spin. econs is alright, but i've got 0% interest in that. jap is great.(: drama's fine (realism's really getting along though it's kinda hard trying to act like you've got cancer in front of the class and attempting to make yourself cry.) english's good too, oh speaking of which - i just got back my english assignment, the narrative writing essay.My mind was still in a whirl of hazy confusion when I woke up. The smell of uncomfortably overwhelming, and I could hear a flurry of people and machines bustling in activity around me. I felt the warmth of a hand on my arm as my parents exclaimed in relieved ecstasy. I swallowed gingerly and was greeted with the bitter taste of medicine.
But my world was still in darkness.
Terrified, I shrieked and writhed in my bed, flailing my arms and crying out as the doctors tried to pin me down. Later that day my parents sat me down and had a doctor explain everything to me.
Haha that was part of my narrative assignment. it's about this girl who was involved in a drunk driving accident and became permanently BLIND. (collective gasp in audience) and on goes the story for three pages (can't be too long for an assessment, can it), and then the character goes through the whole self-realisation development process thing. yeah.
sigh. for the upteenth time, just for the record: I MISS SINGAPORE! and the people. of course the people what am i saying sheesh amelyn and now i'm talking to myself which is kinda strange because i'm not using any punctuation either gosh yes okay i'll stop now. (:
rambling's a hobby, really.
