AGH i need to practise piano! really badly!! firstly cos my sight-reading is still as horrible as ever and i have to play for carols in the quad tomorrow. i'm doomed. i've got to sight-read a gazillion pages of christmas carols right there in front of an audience. how fun. bleghh. :/
..But looking back on everything (all the turbulence from the start of this year right through till now), I think i've come a long way. And now life is pretty smooth.

..I'm in a quiet mood now. A serene, tranquil veil hovering over this house. Don't mind my sudden lack of colloquialism. (x that's just me i guess, prone to sudden changes in writing style because of mood. Odd.
Alright i think i should go now, my sister's got off the phone. I think. I'll update again soon.
Coming back in 12 days! yay. today's the last day of november, i've just realised. the 30th. It seems like Jan 19 was only yesterday or something. Yes, time whisks by faster than what life can catch up with. And my life's probably currently still somewhere back in March or something. ...well ok not really. Today's one of the rare days I feel exceptionally different perspective-wise. I'm putting Fix You on repeat now. haha. and I've said earlier i think i should go, so i think i should. Well miss you guys heaps, can't wait for church camp from 18th to 21st (:, and my glorious ONE MONTH stay in singapore. :D that should be fun, especially when everyone's (finally) got the same holiday in december..

Update! (:

I've got one word to describe life right now.

Slack.

It really is.. there's only six school days left (not counting weekends) till freedom, and only 14 days till 12th december.. (: i'll be in singapore before you can say "iwanttoeatallthefood". Which i will say, sooner or later. (probably sooner.)
I've got to organise myself. Ahem.
To-do list:
1. Do german hw.
2. Finish e-portfolio & save on disk/thumb drive by friday!
3. SOSE play (period 1+2) this wed at lecture theatre.
4. Buy year 10 books from lynette.
5. Reply emails.
6. Practise guitar for church christmas carols.
7. Practise piano for school christmas carols.
8. Get ready for band recording next monday.
9. Do german hw.
...no wait i've said that.
9. Finish reading library books.
10. TIDY ROOM.

Haha yes. I'll try to stick to that. Too bad it's not listed by priority; i should do that next time. If i have time. haha. Agh my msn just died on me. Ah well.
Well i hope you guys are having nice hols, deb i hope you get good results for your O's (:, laur i'll be ringing as soon as my credit magically appears, je how could you lose the bottle! haha jk (thanks in advance for the present(s) you're gonna give me heheh), lk missing ya loads too, have fun in hawaii and don't forget to reply my email, cootsie i've downloaded coney island by death cab for cutie -- gd song!, lisa (english) danke fur die deutsch email (x, happy bday felicity, kaylah last night's dance concert was great!, to everyone (in s'pore) that i haven't mentioned: i miss you guys alot alot and don't forget me alright! sorry seems to be the hardest word

Today is Sunday the 6th of November, 2005, at exactly 12.49 noon in Applecross, Perth.

Just thought you might like to know that.

Anyhow. Loads of things have been happening! Fuel on tues was awesome, it was great seeing so many rushing up to register. There's auditions for the drama production 06 on tues (in 2 days!) and guess what, i haven't started memorising my lines yet. haha. And i've gotta sing a 70's song as well! Gah. Hence the title of this post. I think i'll be singing that song. I mean really, I can't sing anything else on that list they gave. 'I will survive' is way too high for those who know me & my vocal range. cough. And come on, 'hot stuff' isn't gonna work all too well isn't it. haha. AHWELL. yeah so that's happening on tues, and friday is lisa's bday ((:, yet's have a 2-people celebration at Roar on fri heheh... Sigh i didn't go yesterday, so yeah I want to come next week. ..but then i suddenly realised this morning that the Darkly Beautiful showcase is on fri as well!! Aah! Both at 7.30pm. And i think this really brings me to that Roar talk on choices we had last last fri, it really makes sense to me now that i'm facing one of those situations. I'll be looking around for people who want to buy my Darkly Beautiful ticket tomorrow.. SORRY nadia / annielyn / ETC who are in the showcase!! i'll give you my love and good luck's on fri in school yeah. (; you guys will be great.

Haha church was great today, pastor Ken made a really good sermon. (the topic was money & giving for the works of God)
"Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth... But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven... for where your treasure is, there your heart will be also." [Matt 6:19] We should place value in the people and the purposes, not the possessions. And another thing I found true is that no one can serve two masters (matt 6:24). Either he will hate one and love the other, or he will be devoted to one and despise the other. you can't serve both God and $. (See how it says that you can't serve, not can't have. The problem doesn't lie in the money itself but in peoples' love for money. $ was created for God's works, it is the provision for the vision. The money serves us (for kingdom works) but we serve God. People who are bound to money serve money, which means they don't serve God because our heart's got not enough room for two masters, especially if one of them's God. So I guess the sermon was trying to say that we should place our $ where God wants his purposes to be fulfilled, for that is where our heart will be. AHH i love scc! hahah. it's an incredible church that will do such great things, i can sense it already.

To-Do list:
1. Read up on eng hw to prepare for in-class essay next week.
2. Math applications!!! Bleagh it's too tedious for words.
3. Remember lines for audition (both Kathy and Jane parts).
4. Audition ractice @ arisa's (Kardinya) in 3 hours' time.
5. Memorise lines for SOSE play on fri!
6. Download the songs written down on the piece of paper somewhere under my table.
7. Sell Darkly Beautiful ticket.
8. Get Lisa a present (:
9. Call laur.
10. Write (and post) letters to laur, jia en, lian, nadia, cootsie, etc!
11. Oh yeah, study for science test (it keeps getting postponed! haha).
12. Pray for deb's O's! & the SaveTheHumans thing. & everyone doing their TEE on mon, poor people!
13. Tidy up room.
14. Memorise lyrics for Sorry Seems to be the Hardest Word.
15. QT.
16. Go jogging / cycling! I'm feeling more and more unhealthy by the minute.
17. Practise piano pieces & aural (sight reading = a lost cause.)
18. Water the blasted green beans out in the back (science project, don't ask).
19. Remind myself that there's Roar understudy for the music team on tuesdays at 7pm.
20. Take my antibiotics.

Haha wow that's a lot, hey. (x Haha well then i'd better get cracking. You guys enjoy your hols alright? don't forget meeee! haha. seeya in dec!
